Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team at our manufacturing site on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you’ll ensure strong alignment between demand and supply, balancing efficiency, flexibility, quality, and service levels to consistently deliver high‑quality coffee and tea to our customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

  • Providing an accurate and stable Finished Goods production plan for the Auckland Manufacturing site to ensure reliable and resilient production.
  • Collaborating with the various stakeholders, including our Production and Supply chain teams to deliver a plan that balances operational efficiency, capacity constraints and inventory requirements. You will run weekly meetings, as well as other key engagements to support the delivery of this plan.
  • Timely procurement of packaging and raw materials to meet production requirements.
  • Managing suppliers and report on quality and delivery performance
  • Monitoring of planning alerts, inventory levels, progress of production orders and component consumption.
  • Master Data management, i.e. conduct regular reviews with the production teams of master data; capacity and component consumption and maintain Bill of Materials
  • Supporting the effective management of Phase In / Phase Out planning and NPD launches to minimize costs on packaging and raw materials
  • Making continuous improvements to planning processes and practices where applicable

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years Factory or Supply Chain planning experience;
  • Experienced with SAP APO or OMP;
  • Strong personal leadership;
  • Good communication skills and capable of influencing others;
  • Eager to take ownership and initiative;
  • Results driven;
  • FMCG experience
