Job Description

As Tax Reporting & Analytics Specialist, you will be at the forefront of transforming how tax data is managed, reported, and leveraged within JDE Peet’s. This is a key role in building a data-driven tax function, enabling better insights, transparency, and decision-making. This newly created role within the company's Global Tax function will be part of the Global Tax Accounting & Reporting team and report into the Global Tax Accounting & Reporting Manager, based in Amsterdam. The role will primarily focus on the Europe and Growth & Emerging Markets segments.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead global tax reporting processes, including corporate income tax reporting and effective tax rate analysis
  • Drive improvements in tax data quality, automation, and reporting tools (e.g., ERP, reporting platforms)
  • Develop dashboards and analytics to support management, audit committee, and regulatory reporting
  • Support Pillar Two reporting readiness and integration into financial reporting processes
  • Oversee and support in corporate income tax compliance processes
  • Collaborate closely with finance, IT, and GBS teams to streamline processes and embed controls
  • Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement, standardization, and digitalization

Qualifications

Other qualifications include:

  • Strong experience in tax reporting, tax accounting, or financial reporting within a multinational environment - minimum 6 years of relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of tax reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS / US GAAP tax accounting)
  • Affinity with data, systems, and analytics tools
  • Structured, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Motivation to drive automation and process transformation
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
